Ed Harrison
Chief Executive Officer, White Hat

In May of 2006, White Hat was pleased to welcome Chief Executive Officer, Ed Harrison, to the White Hat Family.

Mr. Harrison has an extensive background in management and accounting, through having owned and operated businesses throughout the country. He has worked in fields as diverse as automotive parts and fasteners to elevator manufacturing and sheet metal fabricating. Most recently, Ed has served as president of LXD, a liquid crystal display manufacturing company in the Cleveland area and as president of SMT, a sheet metal fabricating company in Raleigh, NC.

Mr. Harrison was born in Tarrytown, NY in 1944 and spent his first years in the Bronx. The eldest of seven children, he attended public elementary school in Hawthorne, NY and Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains. He and Lee, his wife of 39 years, have a grown son and daughter and two granddaughters. He currently resides in Wadsworth, OH.

The HOPE Academies and Riverside Academy are community schools established under Chapter 3314 of the Revised Code. These schools are public schools and students enrolled in and attending the schools are required to take proficiency tests and other examinations prescribed by law. In addition, there may be other requirements for students at the schools that are prescribed by law. Students who have been excused from the compulsory attendance law for the purpose of home education as defined by the Administrative Code shall no longer be excused for that purpose upon their enrollment in a community school.
