children learn best when they experience success and the classroom
is just a beginning, the following tips are offered to you to
try with your child:
- Ask your child to show you the Student Weekly Progress
Report
- Tell your child that you recognize and encourage any special
skills and talents
- Urge your child to work hard at the Academy, listen to the teacher,
and follow Academy rules
- Provide time, space and materials for your child to do homework
- Listen to your child and talk about his/her day at the Academy
- Praise good work
- Contact the teacher if your child is having difficulty with
Academy studies
- Take your child to the library, museums, and other educational
sites
